In the event of a deflagration, BS&B Vent-SafTM explosion vents provide rapid and unrestricted opening at a predetermined pressure (Pstat) allowing combustion gases to flow through the open vent. The required relief area necessary to protect equipment may be determined by using the most current standards of NFPA 68 or EN14491. BS&B Vent-SafTM explosion vents are available in both round and rectangular styles, typically protecting industrial equipment such as silos, dust collectors, cyclones, conveyers, dryers and bucket elevators.
