At STEINERT, expertise from the fields of wood and metal come together.
The family business has been active in the woodturning trade for 90 years. Originating from a turnery founded in 1932, a specialized trade for machines and accessories, the DRECHSELZENTRUM ERZGEBIRGE, was established in 1990.
In 2018, STEINERT took over the machine manufacturer WEMA GmbH, bringing specialized mechanical engineering expertise in-house.
In 2020, what belongs together comes together. Steinert takes over the traditional company HAPFO Maschinenbau from Mindelheim. HAPFO has been a leading international brand for woodturning technology since 1975.
In addition to the series production of automatic woodturning machines and manual woodturning lathes, we develop special machines for woodworking with our customers.
